KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Nearly 72 hours after the Sunday blizzard, some people are still raising concerns about ice covered roads in neighborhoods.
"It was difficult getting out of the side streets," said Shay while getting gas at QuickTrip.
On Wednesday morning, City Manager Troy Schulte tweeted that road crews had completed operations.
.@kcmo crews have completed snow removal operations. Work will continue this week to remove ice and slush as temperatures warm. Crews will focus on icy intersections. Contact @KCMO311 to request specific locations, but some snow/ice pack will remain on streets.

That tweet was met with quick reaction.
"It's like an inch of ice on the road, still," said one man who didn't want to be named.
People sent multiple tweets with pictures of their snow and ice covered roads.
"I am sure they are doing fine but I was a little surprised to see the news that the roads have been clear." the man said. "That is not the case."
The city says the tweet was in reference to main roads. More than 180 crews have been working around the clock since Sunday.
"The roads still have some issues," said resident Anne McGregor. "The main ones are clear but the neighborhoods not so much."
"The side streets are still messed up and slushy; Some of the main roads are good but not all of them," said Michael Winzer.
Depending on the neighborhood, some side streets were cleared by Wednesday afternoon. Others looked like they haven't been touched since the blizzard.

"I think they need more trucks and they need to prioritize first and secondary streets," said Winzer.
The city says the focus now shifts to neighborhoods, hills and curves.
"You'd think they would buy some blades and put them on the water trucks and have them go around for a day and help clean roads then go back to what they were doing before," said McGregor.
The city says if your street hasn't been treated you can call 311.
