KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A school carrying Hickman Mills middle school students home from school Thursday was involved in an injury crash near Eastern Avenue and Blue Ridge Boulevard.
According to a spokeswoman for the Hickman Mills School District, four children suffered minor injuries during the wreck, which also involved at least one passenger vehicle, according to Kansas City, Missouri, police.
The incident happened around 3:38 p.m.
Another bus was dispatched to the scene to collect the children and finish the bus route.
A Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department spokesman confirmed there were no serious injuries in the wreck, but a white passenger car was disabled and had to be towed from the scene with front-end damage.
