KSHB-TV will add a new newscast to its early primetime lineup starting September 12, 2016.
News anchor Rhiannon Ally and Chief Meteorologist Gary Lezak will host the new program weekdays at 6:30 p.m.
This will be the only local newscast on main network channels in that time period.
41 Action News will now offer seven and a half hours of local televised news coverage every weekday. .
With the addition of the new newscast, the current program in the 6:30 timeslot, “The List”, moves to KSHB’s sister station KMCI (38 the Spot).
The popular syndicated program will now air in primetime at 9 p.m.
