41 Action News wins big at the regional EMMY® Awards

The Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Art and Sciences (NATAS) recognized 41 Action News with 10 regional EMMY® awards on October 1. The ceremony was held in Branson, Missouri.

The EMMY® Awards are created to recognize excellence in television. EMMY® nominees are selected annually by a committee of peers in the industry, which are members of a different NATAS Chapter. Areas of recognition include Community Service and PSA EMMY® Awards, Daytime EMMY® Awards, News and Documentary Awards, Scientific and Technological Advancement EMMY® Awards, and Sports EMMY® Awards.

ON CAMERA TALENT: Mike Marusarz

EDUCATION/SCHOOLS: Andy Alcock for "Isolation Room Controversy"

ON CAMERA TALENT/WEATHER: JD Rudd

ON CAMERA TALENT/HOST: Michelle Davidson (Kansas City Live)

DOCUMENTARY: John Woods, Rex Harris, and Gerald Roberts for "Kansas City & All That Jazz"
