KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died Tuesday after a shooting on Monroe Avenue near 41st Street, according to Kansas City, Missouri, police.
Officers found the man — identified Thursday by KCPD as 22-year-old Caprice Hardy of KCMO — around 4:15 p.m. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Witnesses told police a gold SUV left the scene after the shooting.
Video from Skytracker, the 41 Action News helicopter, showed the victim deceased on the sidewalk. Police taped off a section of Monroe Avenue after the shooting.
