Alert canceled after missing 12-year-old Waynesville girl found safe

UPDATE, 10:50 a.m. Oct. 8 | The Missouri State Highway Patrol has canceled the advisory, saying the girl was found safe.

ORIGINAL | An Endangered Person Advisory has been issued for a 12-year-old girl out of Waynesville, Missouri.

Jade Elizabeth Jones went missing Wednesday night in Waynesville.

Police believe she left her home around 9 p.m. and might be with a white male.

Jones is described as a white female who is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and has braces on her bottom teeth.

The missing 12-year-old may be wearing a blue hoodie with a "Wildcat" logo, blue jeans and black and white Vans slide on shoes.

Anyone who sees Jones should call 911 or the Waynesville Police Department at 573-774-2198.
