Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Conoco gas station in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to the authorities, the KCK gas station in the 900 block of State Avenue was targeted by three armed robbers early Sunday morning around 1:25 a.m.
Officials say three armed men struck the store clerk in the head with a firearm during the robbery and then took off with an undisclosed amount of money.
The clerk was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The three suspects wore masks to disguise their faces, and then hopped in a bluish-green Toyota Rav 4 before leaving the scene. The SUV had Kansas license plates that started with GX. The getaway also had a dent in the rear bumper.
