KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol said at least one person is dead following a crash involving a pedestrian.
It happened on northbound 291 Highway just past Kentucky Road around 4:30 a.m.
Northbound lanes were closed until the Missouri River, which meant drivers had to find a different bridge to cross the river.
The road reopened later Friday morning.
