KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An inmate of the Pettis County, Missouri, jail has escaped, authorities said Monday.
Authorities said they searched the jail extensively and found evidence of Travis Lee Davis’ escape Sunday night.
The 30-year-old was held for charges including kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a minor, domestic assault, resisting arrest and parole violation.
The Pettis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is expected to file charges for the escape Monday morning.
The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office said Davis is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
He is a white man, 6-feet tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Davis has several tattoos including and eye with a triangle on the front of his neck.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and gray pants.
