KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In a stadium full of Kansas City Chiefs fans, one was noticeably missing on Sunday for the AFC Championship Game against the Tennessee Titans.
Charles Penn, also known as “Bad Luck Chuck,” chose to watch the game at Jack Stack Barbecue in the Crossroads Arts District.
He was joined by about 40 of his closest friends and family, who enjoyed an AFC Championship feast before the game kicked off.

Penn made the now-viral decision to leave Arrowhead Stadium during last week’s Divisional Round game after the Chiefs’ disastrous first quarter. Early in the second quarter, Kansas City trailed the Houston Texans 24-0.
Despite paying more than $200 for his ticket, Penn tweeted that he believed himself to be a jinx and made the decision to leave.
Of course, after the first quarter — and Penn’s departure — the Chiefs came back for a decisive 51-31 win over the Texans.
