Bakers Against Racism KC sold over 1,200 pastries in its recent fundraiser.

Proceeds from the sale go to the Urban League of Greater Kansas City.

The group hopes to help minorities in the community secure economic self-reliance and civil rights.

They partnered with local bakeries and restaurants for the sale.

If you ordered a pastry, you can pick it up on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at Ca Va.

If you were not able to buy a pastry, you can still donate on the Bakers Against Racism website.
