U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders traveled to Kansas on Thursday, hosting a rally in Lawrence at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Sanders discussed a wide range of issues including his plan for public colleges, combating institutional racism and ensuring universal health care.
"I've spent my political life standing up for working families, taking on every special interest, taking on the pharmaceutical industry that's ripping us off big time, charging us the highest prices in the world," Sanders told 41 Action News Reporter Dia Wall.
