KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries when he struck a truck at a busy Kansas City, Missouri, intersection.
Police say the accident happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday at Truman Road and Kensington Avenue.
A man on a bicycle was riding north on Kensington Avenue while carrying a large pot, according to KCMO police.
The man failed to stop his bicycle at a stop sign and rode onto Truman Road into a Freightliner 108SD truck.
The impact knocked the man from his bicycle.
KCPD report the driver and passenger in the truck were not injured.
