Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship brings life to downtown

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship brings lots of fans and events to downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

The Sprint Center is the site for all nine basketball games across four days, but there are many other events throughout the weekend.

The Big 12 Run took place Saturday morning near 12th Street and Grand Avenue with a one-mile fun run at 8 a.m. followed by 5- and 10-kilometer races at 8:30 a.m.

The Big 12 title game between Kansas and Iowa State tips off at at 5 p.m.
