KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Protesters convened at the River Market on Sunday for a silent march in response to the death of George Floyd.
The march marked the 10th consecutive day of protests in Kansas City, Missouri.
Attendees were encouraged to wear white shirts with the names of victims written on them, according to protest organizer Justice Horn.
Marchers intended to go from City Market toward East 19th Street and Delaware Avenue to 19th and Grand Boulevard, then back to the park near City Market.
The march remained largely silent, with the exception of the occasional honk from passing cars. Protesters remained on sidewalks.
The silent march is going through Power & Light now.. back to City Market where it started. People have written on their shirts what they have been chanting for over a week. @41actionnews pic.twitter.com/hccy8yeYBO

It’s an extremely peaceful and silent protest with some car honks in support. Everyone is marching on the sidewalk so far. #BLM #KCprotest @41actionnews pic.twitter.com/e03G249I4e
