KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Blue Springs School District Board of Education has named the district’s superintendent-elect.
At its meeting Monday, the board voted to appoint Bob Jerome as successor to Paul Kinder, who will retire in 2021.
Jerome has worked in the district for the past 20 years. He currently serves as assistant superintendent of operations, before which he was the Blue Springs High School principal.
Board president Dale Walkup said he has the “utmost confidence” that Jerome is the right person to lead the district.
