KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Boulevardia, which expects thousands of people over the next two days, gets underway at 4 p.m. Friday.
With a heat advisory in effect, crews said they've set up water hydration stations.
"People can bring their own water bottles," Boulevardia board member Julie Weeks said. "There's no charge to fill those up."
There will also be several cooling tents throughout the festival.

Many people are getting ready for the craft beer, food, and entertainment.
Tech N9ne, who is headlining Friday night, said he's excited to be home after being on the road, doing more than 50 shows.
"We have nine more shows to go, and I’m almost done, and the fact that I’m here in Kansas City, in my hometown, it’s a pleasure," Tech N9ne said.
Boulevardia is this weekend on Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
