KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas Citians may not agree with a Business Insider article listing the most exciting cities in every state.
The publication listed St. Louis as the most exciting city in Missouri and Cape Girardeau as the most boring. For Kansas, Wichita was listed as the most exciting city and Manhattan was the most boring.
Business Insider said it used data to create the list for every state across America. It used counts of the number of establishments for 66 different types of businesses — such as breweries, art dealers, and museums — that can make a city more interesting. Business Insider picked metro areas with the highest and lowest count of these businesses for their interesting and boring cities.
