Attention all Sneetches, star-bellied and otherwise!
A celebration will commence in honor of the Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz-tastic Dr. Seuss on Friday, March 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Plaza Branch of the Kansas City Public Library!
The good doctor’s birthday (number 112!) was Wednesday, March 2, but Friday evening is when the Green Eggs and Ham gets served… book-style.
Friday is when Horton Hears A Who! At 6:30 p.m., Oh, The Places You’ll Go… without ever leaving the library!
In addition to good books, there will be crafts like making your own Cat In The Hat whiskers.
A good-time Friday is nothing new for the library. According to Julia Oglesby, there are always great things going on for families to kick off the weekend.
So, find your Thing One and Thing Two,
Grab Cindy Lou Who,
Put your fox in socks and pick up The Zax,
Don’t forget the fish and your pal, The Lorax!
It’s a fun Seuss-a-rific Friday so better not tarry,
Don’t be Yertle The Turtle, head for the library!
