KANSAS CITY, Mo. — If you think you're traveling far to get to Super Bowl LIV in Miami, this Kansas City Chiefs fan has you beat.

Luke Kiff is traveling across the pond to get to Hard Rock Stadium. Kiff has lived in the United Kingdom his entire life.

Kiff told 41 Action News his love for Chiefs Kingdom started decades ago with a gift from his dad.

"I got a Chiefs football for Christmas in 1996 and just followed them ever since," Kiff said. "The club is just amazing and so are the fans."

Kiff has his trip booked to Miami but says he's still working on finding reasonably priced tickets to get into the game.

He and five of his friends from the Arrowheads Abroad group are traveling together. Kiff says his friend, Tim Childs, started the group that now has 10,000 followers.

"The Chiefs actually recognize it as the only international fan group as well," Kiff said.

Kiff has never been to the United States to catch a Chiefs game, but he's seen other teams play in London.

"I went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers this year at Tottenham, and I went a couple of years ago to Wembley to watch a game as well," he said.

The last time the Chiefs played at Wembley Stadium in London was against the Detroit Lions in 2015. Kiff said he had tickets to go but couldn't make it because he was ill.

To this day, Kiff has never see the Chiefs play in person and is hoping to find tickets in Miami.

"We're just hoping when we go out there to try and get a ticket somehow. We don't know how because it's so expensive," Kiff said.
