OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Pricey tickets have Kansas City Chiefs fans going to great lengths to punch their tickets to Super Bowl LIV.

To get into the big game, it's going to cost fans more than $5,000 for one ticket.

Chiefs fan Blair Falconer resorted to a GoFundMe page in hopes people would pitch in.

"Every game it's like they break new records, there's always that wow moment every game," Falconer said of the Chiefs.

Falconer says he can't miss another great moment by sitting out the Super Bowl.

"I really thought this was going to be a special season, so this is my first season as a season ticket holder," he said.

This season, Falconer hasn't missed a game at Arrowhead Stadium. He says the only feeling that will top winning the AFC Championship is bringing the Vince Lombardi Trophy back to Kansas City.

"I knew it was a moment that I will cherish and have forever and no one can take that away from me," Falconer said. "Just to see the pure joy on everyone's face was, I mean, people were hugging strangers and it was amazing."

On Monday, Falconer set up a GoFundMe account, hoping for a Hail Mary. Many fans have resorted to creating GoFundMe pages, but Falconer's stood out. He decided to give away prizes to the top two donors.

"Instead of just, 'hey give me money,' I wanted to make it worth people's time and feel like they're a part of something," he said.

Falconer plans to give away an autographed Patrick Mahomes jersey and helmet.

"I want to give that to the highest donation, I want to give that jersey to that person," Falconer said. "The second highest donation, I want to give the helmet to them."

In 24 hours, Falconer hasn't made much headway on his $5,000 goal. His flight to Miami is already booked, so he's hoping to reach it before game day.
