KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs fans Elizabeth Willens and Michael Cappo packed their friends and family into their loft Wednesday for the Super Bowl celebrations below.
The two live in the Pershing Lofts, which overlook Union Station, a prime spot for the Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade's pep rally.
"We had several people sleep over last night and other people got here first thing in the morning," Cappo said. "All these people came out to celebrate the Chiefs, so it's awesome to be part of it."
The said they could hear the party start outside their window long before the sun was up.
"It was pretty much constant from 2 a.m. to now," Willens said.
The group ventured out onto the street later, but they were able to enjoy the Union Station proceedings right from their window.
