KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs Women's Organization helped students at The Children's Place decorate holiday crafts on Wednesday.

The Chiefs Women's Organization includes wives and significant others of Kansas City Chiefs players, coaches and business staff. They work to make a positive impact through community volunteering.

The Children's Place helps children who are victims of abuse and neglect.

"A group of wives come in, every child gets someone to sit with them and talk about the art they're creating," said Ann Thompson, president and CEO of The Children's Place. "It's something different and something fun and the kids have a wonderful time."

Along with decorating holiday crafts, children received a special Chiefs stuffed bear from Build-A-Bear.
