Child grazed by bullet in Sunday morning shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A child was grazed by a bullet during a disturbance early Sunday morning in Kansas City, Missouri,

Around 12:45 a.m., police were called to the 1100 block of Hardesty Ave. on a disturbance.

While they were responding, officers learned of a report that a child had been grazed by a bullet in the 5500 block of East 12th St.

Paramedics located the child and transported the victim to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation is underway to determine if the child shot is related to the disturbance.
