KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A fire that displaced several people in Gardner, Kansas, was caught on camera by fire crews Sunday.
The fire happened around 6 a.m. in the 700 block of South Evergreen Street.
The back of a duplex-style home caught fire and caused significant damage.
Two adults and one child made it safely out while a cat had to be rescued from the fire. No injuries were reported.
Several departments responded to the fire, and crews captured video of the fire and from their helmets.
In the video, the initial fire can be seen along with the rescue of the cat and the aftermath of the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
