KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Fire crews responded to a massive fire in the Armourdale neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas, on Thursday night.
The fire broke out in a building that houses two businesses at 750 Cheyenne Avenue.
Firefighters were at the building earlier in the day, but put out the fire, according to a fire department spokesman.
Crews were back on the scene at 7 p.m. battling thick black smoke rolling from the businesses.
The smoke could be seen by commuters along Interstates 35 and 670.
No word on any injuries or what started the fire.
