KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating after a gray female pit pull was dumped illegally Friday afternoon.
A city spokesman said someone in a Kia Forte let the dog out of a car near 45th Street and Garfield Avenue then drove away.
The city’s illegal dumping investigator and representatives from Animal Health and Public Safety went to the scene to collect and examine the dog, which is alive and well.
