KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A driver involved in a crash on Dec. 7 in Kansas city, Missouri, passed away Tuesday.
According to police, the crash happened on U.S. 169 south of Barry Road when a white Chevy Silverado left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was taken to the hospital but died from their injuries Tuesday, over a week after the crash.
No one else was in the vehicle when it crashed.
It is the 99th fatality crash for KCPD in 2020, compared to 72 this time last year.
