KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, firefighters say a lightning strike started a Sunday morning fire that displaced ten people.
It happened just before 7 a.m. at an apartment building on Chestnut Avenue near 30th Street.
Authorities say everyone made it out of the building safely.
It took about 30 minutes to put out the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting four adults and six children.
There were no injuries.
