KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Interstate 70 eastbound was closed at Interstate 435 in Kansas due to a crash Tuesday morning.
A Kansas Highway Patrol spokesperson told KSHB 41 News that the Kansas Turnpike Authority worked on the crash, and they would close the interstate completely in both directions.
The spokesperson also said that there are serious injuries involved with the collision.
A spokesperson with the Kansas National Guard told KSHB 41 News that the crash involved members of the 35th Infantry Division from Fort Leavenworth.
The road was back open around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
