Eastbound I-70 shut down between Lee’s Summit Road and I-470 after a fatal rollover crash Tuesday morning.
Independence police worked the crash, and had reopened the eastbound lanes before the bulk of the morning commute.
The details on those killed and injured were not immediately available. Officials said they plan to release more information later in the day.
