KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Eight people are safe after a plane they were traveling in lost an engine during a flight from Hammond, La., to Kansas City Monday morning.
Air traffic controllers received word from the pilots of the Dassault Falcon 20 plane around 10:50 a.m. that they had lost an engine.
The plane continued on its path around Kansas City International Airport before making a successful landing around 11:20 a.m.
