Eight people were shot, and one was killed in a shooting inside a building at 16th & Minnesota late Saturday night.
Police were called to a shooting at 1615 Minnesota just before midnight.
Officers say the preliminary investigation shows a disturbance occurred inside the small space, and eight people who were there suffered gunshot wounds.
One of the victims, a black male in his twenties later died at an area hospital.
The others were transported with non life-threatening injuries.
Late this morning police Chief Terry Ziegler says officers believe the shooting is gang related.
No other information has been released.
