KIRKSVILLE, Mo. -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued an endangered person advisory for a woman who went missing in Kirksville but has ties to Kansas City.
Courtney M. Shearer, 20, was last seen at a Hy-Vee on 500 N. Baltimore in Kirksville just before 8 p.m.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Shearer has a diagnosed mental illness and does not have her medication with her.
Shearer is described as 5-feet, 4-inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
The Highway Patrol says Shearer has contacts in the Kansas City area.
Anyone with information on Shearer's whereabouts is asked to call the Kirsville Police Department at 660-785-6945 or 911.
