Employees at the IRS building have returned to work after an envelope containing a white powder triggered an alarm Thursday, officials said.
KCFD responded to the building at 333 W. Pershing Rd. around 2:15 p.m. to a substance alarm activated in the mail room.
According to an IRS spokesperson, it has been determined there is no threat to public safety.
