Facebook post about re-launching former Kansas City serial killer's booth sparks outrage online

Serial killer Robert Berdella was known as the butcher of Kansas City. He was convicted of killing six people. Some bodies were found in the trash and some were never found. Berdella died in prison.

He owned a booth at the Westport Flea Market called Bob's Bazaar Bizarre.

A recent Facebook post said someone was going to open a booth at the same flea market with the same name as the serial killer's booth.

Facebook users posted angry comments saying the booth named after the serial killer's would be insulting and insensitive to the victims' families.

The owner of the Westport Flea Market said he thinks the post was a hoax, and he has no plans to allow someone to have a booth in his flea market with that name.

A post late Wednesday indicated the people claiming they were going to launch the booth after the serial killer's booth have decided to change the name of their booth.
