KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A big part of the inspiration for Faith in KC is the idea that religious issues don’t get covered a lot by traditional news outlets, including local news.
During the course of this series, 41 Action News will endeavor to change that by talking to people from different faiths and backgrounds. But the goal of this series is also to cast a wide net outside of the church building.
This week, 41 Action News anchor Taylor Hemness is joined by Bill Tammeus, a longtime reporter and columnist for the Kansas City Star who has spent decades observing and writing about religion and faith issues in Kansas City.
