KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rabbi Mark Levin is the founding rabbi of Congregation Beth Torah in Overland Park, which began in 1988. At the time of his retirement in 2014, he had more than 40 years working in the Jewish faith.

During some of the background work on the Faith in KC series, Rabbi Levin was suggested as a great resource. After just one phone conversation, it was clear why he was suggested to 41 Action News.

Rabbi Levin was chosen for this first episode to help set a baseline for the kinds of conversations, and topics, we’re trying to address during this series.

Watch the first part of the series with Rabbi Levin below. To join the conversation, follow 41 Action News anchor Taylor Hemness on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
