KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City’s iconic Western Auto sign is again casting light on the rest of downtown.

Downtown residents clamored around the building at 21st and Grand at 8:45 p.m. Friday night to see the lights on the sign flipped back on after a recent remodel.

The sign has been dark since 2015.
