Family and friends continue to search for a missing metro woman. Kansas City police have suspended their physical search for Jessica Runions.
The whereabouts of Runions remains a mystery, and the investigation into her disappearance has yielded few clues. The 21-year-old has been missing since Thursday.
Family members and searchers met at the area near 95th and Blue River Rd. Tuesday morning to search the surrounding wooded areas for clues into Runions's disappearance.
Several cars were stopped in a nearby park but searchers refused to talk to reporters. They feared they would somehow jeopardize the police investigation by talking to members of the media.
Kansas City police are not searching for Runions and shared no updates on the investigation.

It's the same area where Runions's burned car was found over the weekend. Police arrested Kyrl Yust in Benton County on Sunday. He's suspected of burning Runions's car.
Runions was last seen with 28-year-old Yust on Thursday, leaving a party.
Police also questioned Yust about the 2007 disappearance of Kara Kopetsky.
Yust is still in custody in Benton County. Police won’t confirm when Yust will be brought back to Kansas City, but it could be as early as Wednesday.
