KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A pedestrian was killed in a crash on Interstate 435 near Front Street Tuesday morning.
The crash happened just after midnight in the northbound lanes.
Police said a Mercedes was headed north near the construction zone when it hit a 56-year-old man, later identified as 57-year-old Ronald Jackson, who was walking or standing in the road.
That person was killed in the crash.
The investigation is underway.
