Fatal shooting overnight in KCK

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A person is dead following a shooting in Kansas City, Kansas overnight.

Police responded to a shooting call in the 2600 block of Delevan Avenue just before 1 a.m. When they arrived, they found a male victim, approximately 17-20 years of age, dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

No suspect information is available at this time.

The KCK Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating.
