KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Springfield, Missouri, man has joined hundreds of others across the country facing criminal charges for their role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
A spokeswoman for the Kansas City office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Thursday that Zachary Martin, of Springfield, had been arrested.
Martin faces charges of accessing a restricted building or grounds, unlawful activities on Capitol grounds, disorderly conduct and demonstrating in the Capitol building.
The spokesperson said Martin was arrested Thursday without incident.
