KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An overnight fire caused significant damage to an Olathe home Friday.
Firefighters responded to the call just after 3:30 a.m. near West Oak Street and South Grant Street, and quickly got the flames under control.
No injuries have been reported.
According to Olathe fire officials, there were people asleep in the home at the time. The father woke to the fire, which started in the attic.
The two adults and one teen told fire crews they will stay with family.
Damage to the home is significant.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
