KANSAS CITY, Mo. — St. Joseph Police said the area of 18th Street and Charles Street has reopened after five people were injured in a shooting Tuesday night.
According to officers, a group of men ages 20 to 30 were in the park about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, when a vehicle drove by and opened fire.
Five were shot, one was shot in the head.
All were transported to an area hospital.
One person is listed in serious condition, four others are listed as stable.
Police have not yet released a suspect vehicle description.
