KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Ford announced Tuesday that it will invest $100 million in the Kansas City Assembly Plant.
The investment will allow the plant to manufacture the electric version of the Transit, now called the E-Transit.
With the investment, Ford plans to create 150 new full-time positions at the plant.
It is all part of a push by Ford to move their vehicles to electric options. The Kansas City plant is already manufacturing the new F-150.
