KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens has filed paperwork to run for office again in 2024.
Missouri Ethics Commission documents state that “Greitens for Missouri” filed June 1 as Republican to run for statewide office.
Greitens resigned as governor in 2018, following multiple allegations against him, including sexual misconduct and misuse of campaign funds.
In a statement made at the time of his resignation, Greitens said that he had broken no laws.
Then-Lt. Gov. Mike Parson assumed the role of governor for the duration of Greitens’ term.
