KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Westside restaurant made Esquire’s list of 23 Best New Restaurants in America for 2020.
This isn’t the only accolade Fox and Pearl has earned this year, either.
Chef/Owner Vaughn Good was nominated for James Beard Foundation Best Chef in the Midwest in February, too.
Fox and Pearl is known for its meats, cooked over a live hearth fire, as well as its relaxing, down-to-earth space designed by Owner Kristine Hull.
During the pandemic, Fox and Pearl has transitioned to a “mercantile style of carryout,” offering house goods, family-style meals and natural wines to go.
Good and Hull were guests on 41 Action News’ Chew Diligence podcast in May 2019, just before they opened the doors of their new space.
Listen below.
Fox and Pearl is located at 2143 Summit St., Kansas City, MO.
