KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Frank Clark is paying for the funeral of LeGend Taliferro, the 4 year-old boy who was shot and killed Monday morning while sleeping.
Life Line Financial Group told 41 Action News the Kansas City Chiefs defensive end had been in contact with Taliferro’s mother, Charron Powell, about helping cover the costs.
LeGend was shot and killed early Monday at the Citadel Apartments in Kansas City, Missouri.
KCPD has not made any arrests in the case and asks anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline and 816-474-8477.
LeGend will be laid to rest on July 10.
At the first Chiefs game of the season against the Houston Texans, Clark said he will play in LeGend's name.
