KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The summertime can be hard for children who struggle to get meals when they’re not in school, but the Hickman Mills C-1 School District is offering help.
The district’s summer food program will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner meals Monday through Friday from June 6 – June 29.
Organizers said they do not consider household income or require registration. Any child under age 18 is welcome to eat for free.
The program will run at the following five locations:
Ervin Early Learning Center - 10530 Greenwood Rd, Kansas City, MO 64134
Breakfast: 8:00 - 8:30 am; Lunch: 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm, Supper: 4:15 - 4:45 pm
Dobbs Elementary - 9400 Eastern, Kansas City, MO 64134
Breakfast: 8:00 - 8:30 am; Lunch: 1:15 - 1:45 pm, Supper: 4:15 -4:45 pm
Warford Elementary - 11400 Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64137
Breakfast: 8:00 - 8:30 am, Lunch: 12:30 -1:00 pm, Supper: 4:30 - 5:00 pm
Smith-Hale Middle School - 9010A Old Santa Fe Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138
Breakfast: 8:30 -9:00 am, Lunch: 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm, Supper: 4:15 - 4:45pm
Ruskin High School - 7000 E. 111th Street, Kansas City, MO 64134
Breakfast: 8:30 -9:00 am, Lunch: 12:15 pm- 12:45 pm, no supper served
